iPhone Jailbreak & Unlock, 3.1.2 , BB 05.11.07
Geohot hat ja schon vor Kurzem wieder durch seinen Jailbreak für ALLE Apple Geräte (iPhones und iPod Touches) unter Firmware 3.1.2 geglänzt. (Bei sehr neuen iPod Touch 3G und iPhone 3GS nur tethered)
Am 4. November wird er mit einem Unlock für das derzeit aktuelle Baseband nachziehen. Das heißt, dass wieder alle iPhones unlockt werden können. Alle. Auch 3G, 3GS mit der neuesten offiziellen Firmware.
Und seinem Aufruf folgend, sei es an der Stelle nochmal gesagt:

On November 4th he will release a FULL SOFTWARE UNLOCK for the latest baseband. That means that ALL iPhones can be unlocked again. All. Including new 3G, 3GS with the newest official firmware.

ist das ändern einer Firmware in Deutschland nicht verboten? Nicht das du Probleme wegen den Links bekommst.

das haette apple vielleicht gerne ^^
es ist zwar immer wieder in der diskussion, aber nur weil manche tools frueher copyright geschuetzte software enthalten.
Und zum modifizieren des phones stehe ich auf dem standpunkt: es ist mein phone, wenn ich darauf software installieren will, kann mir das auch in deutschland niemand verbieten. Umgekehrt: did komischen zulassungs – und ablehnpraktiken im appstore sollten imho das kartellamt beschaeftigen..
Ich denke wenn apple eine handhabe haette, haetten sie sich schon die, die die programme vetoeffentlichen und herstellen zur brust genommen…
Und sonst so? :)

nur jede “Veränderung” an einer “Software”, ohne Zustimmung des Urhebers, stellt eine Verletzung
der Rechte dar. Ist leider so. :D
Tja, da der Apfel alles selber “Erfindet”, können die die “Kunden” gängeln wie sie wollen…
Ansonsten gehts gut und selber?

Hey
ich glaube das ist etwas komplizierter, gerade bei embedded devices. Aber da geohot in den USA noch nichts von apple gehoert hat (afaik)…. Kann ich auch zu ihm verlinken.. ;)
sonst geht bei mir auch gut, mal keine erkaeltung…
Auch wenn das wetter in den letzten tagen nicht so schoen war :(
