As some of you may know, I’ve worked on a Samsung Syncmaster 931BW (19 inch widescreen) TFT for a few years now.

The screen was (is) fine really, great screen, great contrast and everything. The only thing that annoyed me a little was its size. Of course, 19 inch widescreen can’t really be considered small… but anyway, when you try to watch a movie and leave an instant messenger session open in parallel, the size of the actual movie window becomes really small.
So I thought I’d get me a bigger TFT.

The choice now was, will it be 22 inches or 24 inches.
Since 22 inch monitors are not really that much cheaper than 24 inches (at least the ones I looked at) I decided to go with 24 inches. I considered the Samsung Syncmaster T240. Unfortunately the one I ordered got erroneous pixels (is this a correct translation?).
And in all other shops the monitor was kind of expensive. So I went looking around and compared the T240 to the SyncMaster 2433BW. They have exactly the same techincal specifications, except for some different data links. (The T240 has got a HDMI connection etc.). But the 2433BW is a lot cheaper. I decided to go with it (and paid EUR 20 to get it delivered WITHOUT erroneous pixels, what worked).

Here’s my new setup now: :)

If someone has use for an used SyncMaster 931BW, ~1 year warranty left, NO erroneus pixels… let me know ;)

Obwohl ich Weihnachten nie wirklich viel abgewinnen konnte, wünsche ich Euch allen schöne Feiertage.

Und dass Sylvester lustig wird, versteht sich von selbst.

Btw: Der verbalisierte geistige Verfall den Monsieur Ratzinger meinte vom Stapel lassen zu müssen, macht das Fest in meinen Augen noch überflüssiger. Aber das nur am Rande.

Nach langer Zeit hört man mal wieder etwas von mir (viel Stress in und außerhalb der Schule).

Auletta hat nun einen Vertrag beim Majourlabel EMI unterschrieben. Die Produktion des Albums läuft auf Hochturen, und es wird auch eine neue Myspace- und Webseite geben.
Zusätzlich gibt es einen neuen Blog der Jungs, auf dem alle Infos über die weitere Albumproduktion verewigt werden.
